Scholarship for Law, Business & Economics Students
The Jason Borrevik Scholarship Program is an aide for students to pursue success on their chosen career path. Very often it can be difficult for students to be sure of their future career aspirations. Mr. Borrevik intends to encourage those students in Law, Business and Economics programs to continue through the challenging curriculum and succeed in their studies. Taking courses in these areas is a great method of future-proofing your career and an invaluable asset in the workforce. As an undergraduate, you will be studying and building essential skills that can be used in a multitude of positions.
Jason Borrevik has a proven track record of advising leading technology firms in the area of management consultancy. He has worked with his current company, Compensia since 2005 and currently holds a position within the company as a Principal for the Northwest region of the United States. Mr. Borrevik graduated in 1994 from the University of Oregon, and achieved his BA in Economics. After achieving his BA, Jason then moved to attend University of California, Berkeley to study law. A highlight of his studies is earning an internship as a legal intern with the Oakland Raiders during his program.
The Jason Borrevik Scholarship Program aims to assist those students who are driven and motivated to help businesses succeed. Therefore, he has chosen to help fund students who are enrolled in Law, Business and Economics programs. Mr. Borrevik has seen incredible student success following a successful post-secondary education. Further, he wishes to instil the importance of post-secondary education. College and University programs provide not only conventional learning within the classroom, but they also offer students unique out-of-classroom learning opportunities such as in internships, professional relationships and networking.
Jason Borrevik’s current opportunity offers a scholarship of $1,000 USD for university and college students in the US and Canada enrolled in business, law, or economics programs in the Summer 2019 or Fall 2019 semester. The program will collect applications from Monday, March 25, 2019, 8:00 a.m. PDT until Monday, June 24, 2019, 5:00 p.m. PDT.
